Aire Ancient Baths is a luxury bathhouse and massage center. The brand’s concept is to recuperate the Roman tradition of baths in restored historical buildings, offering a unique and unparalleled experience. We are seeking a knowledgeable and hard-working Maintenance Technician to oversee the upkeep and preservation of the company’s River West facility.

The Pool Operator/Maintenance Technician will work closely with the Maintenance Manager to uphold the center’s physical condition and will be required to foresee potential maintenance problems in order to avoid them. Must be an individual that knows how to work independently and in-group.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

MAINTENANCE

• Oversee detailed maintenance of our 8 pools, including chemical levels, temperatures, cleanliness, and overall function
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing issues in the facility
• Support the team to comply with the company’s Annual Maintenance Plan and proposing facility improvements
• Assist in keeping stock and supplies organized. Must be proactive in assisting the Maintenance Manager in controlling stock levels
• Provide regular reports to the Maintenance Manager about the physical state of the facility
• Perform general maintenance duties as needed

OPERATIONS

• Be knowledgeable of Company’s operations policies and systems
• Perform daily checklists and submit reports to Maintenance Manager for revision
• Ability to attend pool systems or facility operations seminars

Qualifications & Requirements

• 1-3 years experience in the maintenance department of a facility
• Knowledge of facility operation including maintenance, electricity, HVAC, water treatment etc.
• Extensive electricity operations knowledge is a plus
• Able to multitask and think quickly and analytically, solving problems quickly and efficiently
• Ability to be a team builder, not afraid to get hands dirty, literally and figuratively
• BE PUNCTUAL AND RELIABLE. Show up to work on time and maintain flexibility with scheduling according to business needs
• Can follow detailed instructions
• Certified Pool/Spa Operator (CPO) certification is a huge plus
• Ability to lift heavy objects, up to 60 pounds

MUST BE ABLE TO WORK NIGHTS, WEEKENDS AND SOME HOLIDAYS.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour
