The Role:

As a Marketing Associate, you will support the USA PR & Marketing Manager and onsite teams to execute brand marketing and local campaigns. Ensure the optimal positioning of the brand in the local market of AIRE Centers (NYC & Chicago) - focusing on the promotional and commercial activations of the right image and message to the general consumer market, the influential press community, companies and tourism professionals, and internally to staff and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

Local Marketing plan:

• Participate in the Global Marketing strategies development together with the USA PR & Marketing Manager
• Proactively develop, implement and follow-up of appropriate sales and marketing local action plan to optimize general business opportunities

• Observe the market, identify trends and help generate new ideas in demand and customer experience
• Oversee tactical promotions and special onsite launches
• Support with weekly and monthly recaps of activations, invitations, events and bookings by maintaining master tracker excel documents
• Assist with the proofing and approval process for campaign materials supplied by Spain
• Manage the printing and ordering process for Marketing materials with suppliers or AIRE purchasing team

Local PR and commercial activity:

• Be responsible to raise awareness of AIRE brand at local level (be a brand advocate and guardian)
• Support marketing & public relations initiatives to support sales strategies and activities with third parties (liaise with central departments to ensure that all aspects of each action are covered i.e. required materials, legal aspects, etc..)
• Manage bookings and additional requests from B2B partnerships across all sectors (hotels, vips, corporates etc) under the guidance of PR and Marketing Manager
• Manage booking and correspondence for personal private event requests and support on corporate event requests as required.

General:

• Capture content from social media, Google Alerts and press clippings for USA locations for departmental recaps and reporting
• Oversee the marketing materials, establish and maintain an efficient stock control system for all marketing and promotional materials available at AIRE Center
• Supervise and ensure the overall brand image standards in the Center location
• Contribute to social media strategies by identifying key local e-opinion leaders and influencers
• Media Comms: detect opportunities in paid media (on and off) with a local scope and/or aiming at promoting the destination
• Liaise & communicate with internal teams ahead of Marketing initiatives, VIP visits etc. Follow up with face to face communication in addition to emails.
• Respond to AIRE Donation requests and misc requests from booking teams.
• Additional tasks as required by the USA PR & Marketing Manager

Who You Are:

• Degree in communications, public relations, journalism or another relevant Marketing field
• 0-1 years of PR and Marketing experience preferred but not essential including PR relations, media relations, consumer or hospitality brand experience preferred
• Experience of working within a dynamic environment is essential
• A high degree of personal initiative, innovative thinking, influencing & collaboration skills are essential.
• Excellent communications and planning skills
• Self-starter with ability to manage multiple tasks and workflows and ensure that deliverables are understood and achieved
• Proactive, able to work with minimal supervision and willing to be hands-on
• Analytical thinking
• Ability to work additional hours as required for specific projects, events or initiatives
