Chicago Location:

Our Chicago location was designed to showcase a historic restored factory from 1902 in River West, close to the West Loop. The space has been given a new lease of life and is now part of the magical AIRE atmosphere.

The Role:

As a Spa Maintenance Supervisor you will oversee the upkeep and preservation of AIRE's River West facility. You will work closely with the Maintenance Manager to maintain the center's physical condition and assess potential maintenance problems. You will also coach and manage the maintenance team to provide adequate service to the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Uphold the integrity of the facility's physical condition by providing preventative and corrective maintenance.
• Oversee and maintain the conditions of machinery and equipment (pools, laundry, electrical, plumbing, etc.).
• Support requests and ensure standards from the Maintenance Manager.
• Provide regular reports to the Maintenance Manager about the physical state of the facility.
• Manage inventory pertaining to maintenance supplies.
• Support sanitation, cleaning, and disinfecting processes and standards.
• Support vendor and contractor relationships that involve controlling pricing, delivery, and ordering supplies.
• Assist with the hiring, training, and onboarding of new maintenance staff.
• Organize and oversee schedules for all maintenance staff.
• Support the performance of all maintenance staff according to facility standards.

Who You Are:

• 3+ years working in a maintenance department, hospitality preferred.
• Experience with facility-wide operations (maintenance, HVAC, water treatment, etc.).
• Experience reading blueprints and schematics.
• Extensive electricity operations knowledge.
• Experience multi-tasking, analytical thinking, and making data-informed decisions.
• Experience leading a team by example - willing to assist with tasks.
• Solve problems with urgency and accuracy.
• Detail-oriented: follow and give detailed instructions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
• Certified pool/spa operator (CPO) is a plus.
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus.
  
• Must have adequate vision and hearing to properly interpret water analyses and equipment readings, as well as complete record keeping.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 80 pounds).
• Physically able to perform all aspects of cleaning, checking, and monitoring pools and the facility.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and some holidays.
