Tribeca Location:

In the midst of the bustle and fast-paced rhythm of downtown, right at the heart of Tribeca, there is an oasis of tranquility exclusively designed to balance mind and body. Located at a restored historical building, originally an 1883 textile factory, the AIRE experience consists of an unforgettable journey through sensations across the various baths with water at different temperatures that will transport you to the ancient times of the Roman, Greek and Ottoman traditions.

The Role:

As a Massage Therapist Supervisor you will support the Massage Therapist Manager in organizing, scheduling, and supervising the Massage Therapist team.  You will be responsible for performing administrative tasks (inventory, scheduling, etc.) and providing massages to clients. You will also be responsible for training new massage therapists.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up the therapists and Links tablet schedule.
• Ensure therapists arrive on time and help manage no shows.
• Check daily bookings in GEM and plan for shift.
• Manage changes, absences, clocked hours, and overtime.
• Attend daily briefings and record relevant information from current day.
• Lead daily AM and PM therapist briefings; delegate roles/tasks for shift.
• Perform daily checks of all therapist department to ensure quality control.
• Carry out MOD duties when appropriate.
• Provide direct support to Therapist Manager.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized massage environment.

Stock

• Monitor inventory level and storage organization on a weekly/monthly basis.
• Manage orders following internal approval procedures and coordinate deliveries.

Supervision

• Ensure all notes are recorded accurately on the Links tablet.
• Spot check room set up.
• Hold therapists and links accountable for arriving on time; handle related issues.
• Provide training support when required.

Meetings

• Attend management meetings in absence of the Therapist Manager; plan, organize, and lead weekly meetings with therapists.

Miscellaneous

• Ensure Health and Safety protocols are met and report any issue.
• Assist in recruitment and perform trade tests of potential new hires.
• Communicate with all members of AIRE through the correct channels.
• Provide payroll/tip support.

Who You Are:

• High School Diploma or GED, required.
• Massage Therapist License in the state of New York, required.
• Minimum of (2) years experience in a client services setting, required.
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel), preferred.
• Maintain company standards of luxury, glamour, warmth, energy, and accommodation.
• Experience supervising massage therapists, required.
• Experience training massage therapists, preferred.
