The role

As a Salesforce Developer, your primary responsibility will be to develop new functionalities and maintain the company's Salesforce platform at a programming level. You will play a crucial role in creating, customizing, and optimizing the Salesforce ecosystem to meet the company's needs.

Who We Are Looking For: 

• University degree or higher education in Informatics
• Fluent in Spanish and English
• 4 years of professional experience as a Salesforce Developer, including:
  • Best practices in APEX development
  • Working with Service Cloud and Amazon Connect
• Certifications: Salesforce Developer 1 and 2, Platform App Builder
• Salesforce Administrator certification is desirable

Technical Skills:

• APEX: Best Practices, WebServices, Visualforce Controllers, LWC Controllers, Batch Processes, Scheduler Jobs, SOQL/SOSL, Limits
• LWC (Lightning Web Components): Best Practices, Styles, Events
• Communities: Partners, Internals
• Salesforce Platform: Flows, Sharing Settings
• Code Management: Using VSCode and GIT
• Third-party Integrations: Via REST APIs and WebServices
• Experience with Tableau, Marketing Cloud, and DataCloud is desirable
• Experience with ERP systems (preferably SAGE) is desirable
• Previous experience in the hospitality sector is desirable

Key responsabilities:

Salesforce Platform Development:

• Design, develop, and customize Salesforce products using APEX, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
• Implement APEX best practices to ensure optimized and efficient code within Salesforce's limits
• Create and maintain new products, objects, and customized rules based on the company's needs
• Develop and maintain batch processes and scheduler jobs for handling large data volumes
• Configure and customize Flows to automate tasks and improve operational efficiency
  

System Integration

• Integrate Salesforce with external systems using REST APIs and WebServices

• Develop and implement solutions for integrating Salesforce with other platforms, including SAGE and Amazon Connect
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system connectivity and interoperability
  

User Support

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in Salesforce
• Provide technical support and guidance to users across different markets

Code Lifecycle Management and Innovation 

• Use tools like VSCode and GIT for code management and version control
• Maintain test coverage at the percentage specified by the manager
• Stay up to date with Salesforce’s latest features and propose continuous
• improvements to development processes and data management
  Document developments, configurations, and key processes
