The role
As a Maintenance Manager, you will join our Copenhagen team and be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Facilities, assisting in planning, and supervising the work, effectiveness, and safety of facilities maintenance operations. But, above all, it will be your people management that will make you stand out, we are looking for someone that encourages and motivates employees to perform at a consistently high level.
Key responsibilities:
- Supervise the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department, ensuring all facilities run smoothly and safely.
- Execute and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance plans in line with company procedures and local regulations.
- Oversee the proper functioning of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and water treatment systems, including pool parameters such as temperature, filtration, and chemical levels.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards, maintaining updated documentation and coordinating related training for the team.
- Recruit, train, and lead the maintenance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Manage schedules, suppliers, inventories, and maintenance budgets efficiently.
- Work closely with other departments to address operational needs and ensure a seamless guest experience.
You will be delighted with our place in Copenhagen, located in the Carlsberg Byen district, where the former Carlsberg factory has been given a new lease of life and now is part of the magical AIRE atmosphere.
The team will support you from the first day and will guide you in acquiring new knowledge.

Who you are:
- You have a minimum of 2-3 years working with electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- You have a minimum of 2 years of experience leading and developing teams.
- Previous experience in swimming pool management and maintenance will be highly valued.
- We are looking for a hands-on attitude, this role requires regular presence in the technical room, so you will succeed if you are mechanically inclined.
- You have an advanced level of English. Danish is a plus!
- You are able flexible and able to work nights, holidays, and weekends when need it.
- Ideally, you have Pool certification Svømmebadsteknik - Første already, but we can put you through the training if not.
