Your Mission

As a Senior Cost & Procurement Specialist, you will own the financial performance of our construction projects end-to-end. From early feasibility through design, procurement, construction, and handover, you ensure cost efficiency, budget control, and data-driven decision-making across all regions. This role sits at the intersection of construction, finance, and strategy, bringing visibility, rigor, and optimization to every stage of the project lifecycle.

What you’ll be responsible for

Cost Management

• Lead project cost control across all phases: feasibility, design, construction, and delivery

• Build, validate, and continuously optimize project budgets and forecasts

• Track cost evolution across regions (US, Canada, EU) and flag risks proactively

• Drive value engineering initiatives in collaboration with technical teams

• Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions when needed

Procurement

• Plan and manage tender processes, supplier selection, and contract negotiations

• Analyze bids and support commercial decision-making

• Oversee procurement logistics and ensure timely material delivery

• Control invoices, approvals, and project cash flow

Data & Performance

• Develop and maintain cost tracking and procurement reporting systems

• Analyze historical and live project data to improve forecasting accuracy

• Define and monitor KPIs related to cost efficiency, supplier performance, and risk

• Provide clear, actionable insights to Project Directors and stakeholders

Risk & Compliance

• Identify financial and operational risks across projects

• Ensure compliance with internal standards and international regulations

• Advise on cost implications of design and scope changes

• Implement controls to prevent budget deviations and supplier issues

What we’re looking for

Background

• Degree in Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or similar

• 10+ years of experience in construction projects

• At least 5 years focused on cost management, budgeting, or estimations

• Experience in international environments

Technical Skills

• Strong command of Excel and cost control tools (Presto or similar)

• Solid understanding of construction cost structures and procurement processes

Languages

• Fluent in English and Spanish
