Copenhagen – Maintenance Technician
The role:
AIRE Ancient Baths Copenhagen is seeking an experienced and dedicated Pool Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance team. This role is critical to ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of all water treatment systems, thermal baths, and associated plant equipment, as well as various mechanical, electrical and supporting both guest safety and the high standards expected in a luxury wellness environment.
Key responsibilities:
Monitor, operate, and maintain all pool and water treatment systems, including filtration, dosing systems, pumps, and heating equipment.
Monitoring, testing and treating the various indicators of the pools: temperature, chlorine, filtration, pH, cleaning and disinfection, as well as any other indicators required by local regulations or company standards.
Strong knowledge of electrical , mechanical and control wiring systems.
Diagnose faults; repair/replace controls, thermostats, fuses, switches, and wiring.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance (filters, condenser/coil cleaning, PM schedules) in line with AIRE standards and safety procedures.
Monitor system performance, identify potential failures, and implement timely corrective actions.
Maintain accurate maintenance logs, reports, and compliance documentation
Ensure all work complies with Danish regulations, safety standards, and internal SOPs.
Ensuring the execution of the corrective and preventive maintenance processes established in the “Procedure maintenance manual”, following the protocols established by the company, the installation company and/or the local regulations.
Carrying out checks of the hydraulic and electrical systems of the facilities, ensuring their correct operation, and being responsible for the definition, execution and follow-up of the annual maintenance plan.
Proposing corrective measures for any incidents that may occur in the centre's operations, ensuring compliance with local regulations and the Organisation's requirements.
Maintaining and ensuring that the technical areas are in good condition, both in cleanliness and repair, identifying the work and investments required to meet this standard.
Being responsible for stock control of the various products in the area, as well as placing the necessary orders following corporate protocols to avoid stock shortages.
Ensuring that the daily briefing is carried out by the team, together with other operational departments, highlighting the relevant aspects of the day such as VIP clients, maintenance incidents affecting operations, groups, and more
Who we are looking for:
Diploma or Technical Certificate in Pool Operations, Mechanical, Electrical, or similar.
You have a minimum of 2 years working with electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
Previous experience with water treatment is highly valued
Experience in spa, wellness, hospitality, or leisure environments is highly desirable.
You have an advanced level of English.
Shift patterns:
40 hours a week
Shifts are organised on a rotating schedule and are planned at least two weeks ahead.
Operating hours start at 7:00 AM and end at 11:00 PM. Operating days are Monday to Sunday, including bank holidays.
