The Role:
As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will support the Maintenance Manager in overseeing the day-to-day maintenance operations at our new Los Angeles facility.
You will combine hands-on technical work with team coordination, ensuring that preventive and corrective maintenance is carried out effectively and that our facilities, equipment, and water systems are maintained to the highest standards. You will also support the team with training, daily planning, and Health & Safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Facility Maintenance
Perform hands-on maintenance duties as part of the department's rotation, while supporting the onboarding, training, and development of Maintenance Technicians.
Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance activities are carried out according to company procedures and local regulations.
Support the correct operation and maintenance of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, and water treatment systems.
Technical Operations Assistance
Identify necessary repairs, improvements, and investments and communicate them to the Facilities Manager.
Support the monitoring of pool conditions, temperature, filtration, cleaning, and disinfection standards, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Monitor maintenance stock and supplies, following company procedures to avoid shortages.
Coordinate with external suppliers and contractors when required.
People Management
Support the recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of the Maintenance team.
Provide regular feedback and support team members in their professional development.
Assist in planning and supervising daily work, shifts, absences, holidays, and schedule changes.
Participate in daily operational briefings, highlighting maintenance matters that may affect the facility's operations.
Foster a positive, collaborative, and supportive team environment.
Safety, Health, and Regulations
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety principles, company standards, and local regulations.
Support the implementation of improvements that promote the efficient and sustainable use of products and resources.
Maintain accurate maintenance, safety, and compliance records.
Report relevant incidents, improvements, and maintenance matters to management.

Who You Are:
Minimum 2 years of experience in technical maintenance, ideally within a spa, wellness, hospitality, or similar environment.
At least 1 year of experience coordinating or supporting a maintenance team.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems and maintenance.
Experience with facility-wide operations, including areas such as plumbing, HVAC, mechanical systems, and water treatment.
Experience with swimming pool maintenance and water treatment is highly valued.
Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification is a plus.
A hands-on approach, with the ability to lead by example and support the team when needed.
Detail-oriented and organised, with a practical and proactive approach to problem-solving.
Able to manage multiple priorities and respond to maintenance issues with urgency and accuracy.
Comfortable using Microsoft Office 365 and maintenance management systems.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus.
Available to work nights, weekends, and some holidays, according to operational needs.
